Evidence/activity/anecdote: The evidence I am using for this standard is the 4th grades artifact project. A packet goes to each of the students. It is broken into sections: directions, important dates, project proposal, museum card write-up, and grading rubric.


Impact on student’s learning: Student have multiple opportunities to do well in this project. The packet is gone over orally as well as they get a print copy. Photos of past projects are shown. A list ideas and materials is given. The rubric is explained and a copy is taken home. The project is broken down into chucks with due dates. All of this is posted on the blog to keep students as well as parents informed
